Increases in temperature also increase viral replication rates within Ae.

aegypti include an ideal temperature range between 20–35☌ for mosquito development, fertilisation and vector competence. Meteorological conditions directly influence the incidence of arboviruses by modulating vector mosquito populations. aegypti is found in tropical and sub-tropical regions. Spreading from its ancestral home in West Africa 400–500 years ago via the slave trade Ae. The epidemiology of CHIKV is notable due the sporadic patterns of outbreaks, likely caused by introduction of the virus into urban environments from the sylvatic cycle with nonhuman primates the most likely major reservoir host. CHIKV was first reported in Tanzania in 1952 and has since rapidly spread across the globe causing sporadic and significant epidemics in Asia, India, Europe and The Americas. ZIKV epidemics have also been reported in Singapore, Vietnam, Thailand and Cape Verde. The first epidemics of ZIKV were reported in Yap, Micronesia (2007) and French Polynesia (2013) outbreaks were reported in Brazil in 20 which then led to a rapid spread of ZIKV to 48 countries within the Americas and the Caribbean. The number of global dengue cases reported to the WHO has increased 15 fold over the last 20 years, with deaths also seeing a significant increase (4-fold). ĭengue causes an estimated 390 million infections per year and has a distribution that covers every continent of the world with the exception of Antarctica. Joint pain associated with CHIKV is debilitating and whilst typically lasting a few days can last for many months or even years. Infection with the chikungunya virus (CHIKV) is characterised by sudden onset fever, rash and arthralgia. Congenital Zika syndrome refers to a group of birth defects, notably Microcephaly, which have been associated with ZIKV infection during pregnancy. The clinical presentations of symptomatic ZIKV can include Zika fever, congenital Zika syndrome and Guillain-Barré syndrome. Most Zika (ZIKV) infections are asymptomatic, with only approximately 20% of infections causing symptoms. Dengue infection can be asymptomatic but clinical presentations range from mild dengue fever (DF), a febrile illness similar to influenza, to the severe forms of dengue dengue shock syndrome (DSS) and dengue haemorrhagic fever (DHF). Arboviruses, including dengue, Zika and chikungunya, are of particular concern due to the recent increase in global cases promoted by the rapid spread of both their primary mosquito vector Aedes aegypti as well as their secondary vector Aedes albopictus. Thanks in advance.Vector-borne diseases are one of the most significant public health burdens globally, with 80% of the total world population at risk.
ASHLEY C60D YEARS FREE
It is located on the opposite side from the main air supply/damper.įeel free to let me know if there is anything else I should be aware of. What is the purpose and how does image 1557 work? It looks like a small hole in the side of the stove with a screw that can close a cover if needed. The grate the wood sits on are bowed in the middle where they met? Are they supposed to be bent like that? (see image 1559) What materials do I need and how far do I need to stay away from things to exhaust the smoke?įrom the pictures of the door, is there anything I need to do to it? (see image 1553)

The ceiling is particle board, then just above it is where the roof is. The white cabinet (see image 1558) is going to be moved and that is where I plan to set up the stove.

Is there anything I can use to fill in the pits that is safe with high temperatures before I paint it and what is the best way to repair the hole? The top of the stove is pitted and has a whole (see images 15) that has rusted through one corner.
ASHLEY C60D YEARS INSTALL
When it comes to the inside of the stove (see image 1552) how much, what kind, and how do I install the fire brick on this model? What are the plates that are bolted inside of the stove for? I have started stripping it down to clean and I plan to paint it as well to preserve it as much as possible. I am new to using a wood stove and plan to put this one in my barn and use this winter but want to make sure I do it safely. I have uploaded several images as well for reference. I have not been able to find any information on the internet about this particular model. I believe the model number is C60A (I have included pictures of the tag). I was given this old Ashley wood stove by a friend. I would appreciate any help you can provide me.
